Brief

A staircase renovation and custom handrail installation for a three-storey townhouse. The existing staircase was builder-grade with basic balustrading that felt dated and unsafe.

Our solution

We designed and installed a contemporary floating staircase with glass balustrading on one side and a custom timber handrail on the wall side. Underneath the stairs, we created a custom storage solution with soft-close drawers, maximising the use of otherwise wasted space.

Outcome

The new staircase has transformed from a purely functional element into a design feature that enhances the entire home. The floating treads and glass balustrading bring light deep into the townhouse, while the under-stair storage provides practical benefits.
